I visited here in the hope of getting my bike fixed (a Cube Touring Pro). Within 24 hours I had a new Shimano chain and 10 speed cassette fitted. Great knowledge and service. About £105 (€120) including labour which I think was good value for money. Thanks Bicycles Golf 👏👍.

Problems with the bikes… the recommanded route was impossible to do with the kids, had to wait half an Hour to be able to return the bikes, while all the staff was just sitting outside… nope! Break from 12 tot 14h.. altough I asked friendly because we had surf lessons at 14h 🙄

Great place, was on a bikepacking trip and needed to fix my bike. They allowed me to use their tools for free!

Double jeopardy, or when integrity goes astray.
A great experience can sometimes leave a bitter taste.
The rental of a total of 12 bikes went perfectly: quality equipment, pleasant service... until the return, when one of the bikes was stolen.
And then, surprise:
1- I was asked not only to reimburse the rental bike at the new price (€2,100) on the grounds that I hadn't purchased insurance - insurance that, incidentally, hadn't been offered to us.
2- But also to file a theft report in my name so that the rental company could file their own report and presumably receive compensation from their own insurance.
In other words, paying and also allowing the rental company to get reimbursed. A perfect example of double jeopardy, which seriously calls into question the transparency and responsibility of this retailer's business practices. Without animosity, but with a genuine concern for fairness, I believe it's worth remembering that a rental agreement should never turn a bona fide customer into a revenue adjustment variable under the guise of a claim.
Trust isn't something you claim; it's something you demonstrate. In my case, that's not the case.
